Digital EQ with unprecedented control

Sweep, slide and squelch with Spectron's 4-node modulated filters. This is not your standard filter.

Spectron's filter section offers four fully adjustable filters for left-channel, right-channel and stereo filter effects. You can modulate each filter node with an LFO or envelope, and then go one step further with the advanced LFO for modulation of the LFO affecting the node. As shown in the image on the left, you can turn on "harmonics only" mode and filter only the harmonics of the base frequency for some cool "comb filter" effects. The unique design of Spectron's filter section also allows you to do some cool "stutter" effects, as shown in the video below.

In this quick video, we take this simple EQ and turn it into an advance LFO effect.

Operation of the Filter module is pretty straightforward -- select a node, set a shape, and drag up to increase the gain of the frequencies covered by that node, or drag down to cut the gain of those frequencies.

What you'll notice, however, is that you can create very non-traditional shapes with the Spectron Filter module. You're not limited to the typical "bell curves" of a parametric EQ. You can create squares, triangles, notches, curves, etc. They behave like traditional filters, but the don't have to look or sound like the old school EQs.
